Alabama-based Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only southern inspired, fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, will make its south Houston debut tomorrow in Pearland at 2110 Pearland Parkway, Suite 108. The 2,640-square-foot restaurant is the inaugural tenant at Pearland Parkway Marketplace, a newly completed, 17,500-square-foot neighborhood lifestyle center at Barry Rose Road. Chambliss Design Associates was the restaurant architect, and Bluestone Partners served as general contractor for the build out.
Developed and managed by Houston-based Gulf Coast Commercial Group, Pearland Parkway Marketplace is now 50% leased with additional tenants slated to open by end of year including Nails of America and Lin Asian Café. The project consists of retail spaces spanning in size from 1,200 to nearly 4,000 square feet, as well as adjacent pad sites of approximately one acre each along Pearland Parkway. Danny Miller of Gulf Coast Commercial Group is overseeing leasing.
The Pearland restaurant is owned and operated by first-time Chicken Salad Chick franchise owners Kim and Clarke Hayes of H7 EATS-Pearland, LLC, who are celebrating the opening with four days of giveaways and specials. This is the ninth Chicken Salad Chick to open in Greater Houston as the chain grows its local footprint.
According to Gulf Coast Commercial Group President Tom Lile, “We’re excited to welcome Chicken Salad Chick to Pearland Parkway Marketplace. We’re thrilled they chose this prime location for their introduction to south Houston and believe their dynamic brand will resonate well with our neighboring communities including Branbury Cross, Riverstone Ranch, and the Lakes at Highland Glen.”
