Tiger King placed in COVID-19 isolation in a Texas prison (video)

Joe Maldonado-Passage, also known as Joe Exotic, the star of Netflix’s new popular documentary “Tiger King,” has been placed in self-isolation in a Texas federal prison after several inmates tested positive for COVID-19, according to an interview with his husband Dillon Passage.

“We speak three to five times every day,” he told Cohen. “But since he’s been moved to this new facility, they are putting him on COVID-19 isolation because of the previous jail he was at — there were cases. So I have yet to speak to him since he’s been moved.”

The Tiger King was sentenced to 22 years in prison earlier this year for his role in a murder-for-hire plot that targeted Carole Baskin, who is also featured in the Netflix documentary.

Joe is being held at a federal prison in Fort Worth, Texas.
