Texas Governor Greg Abbott has ordered flags in Texas to be flown at half-staff in honor of the victims killed in El Paso.

20 people were killed and 26 injured when a man armed with a “powerful rifle” and wearing body armor opened fire in a crowded Wal Mart Saturday morning.

Governor Abbott issued a statement:

“Texas grieves for the people of El Paso today,” on a day that would have been a normal day for someone to leisurely go shopping, turned into one of the most deadly days in the history of Texas.”
