U.S. Congressman Dan Crenshaw will give a legislative update at an upcoming luncheon presented by BIZPAC on Thursday, Aug. 15th at 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Five Central, 2736 Virginia Street, Houston, Tx 77098.
Crenshaw, who represents the second congressional district of Texas, will share his experiences working as the minority party in a Congress working at odds with the Senate and Executive Branch.
Prior to serving in Congress, Crenshaw served in the Navy Seals for 10 years, including five tours of duty and reached the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Crenshaw medically retired in 2016 earning two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, and the Navy Commendation Medal with Valor.
He grew up in Katy, Texas and was elected to the U.S. House of Representative in 2018.
