Fireworks

Join Pearland Parks and Recreation department in celebrating this Fourth of July. Festivities include a military salute,  live music, the national anthem and a fireworks display.  Guests can park at Turner Career and College High School, located at 4719 Bailey Road, and take a free shuttle to the event. All ages are welcome. 6-10 p.m. 3775 S. Main Street, Pearland. www.pearlandtx.gov

Independence Day 5K Run

The Shadow Creek Ranch Outdoors Group is hosting its 3rd annual Shadow Creek Ranch Fun Run series. The event is free and is open to all Pearland residents. Bring the entire family – strollers and pets are welcome.  Wear red, white and blue to celebrate the Fourth of July. 6-9 a.m. Meet at the Reflection Bay, 12234 Shadow Creek Pkwy, Pearland, TX 77584.  No registration required.
